beliefs now turned to convictions hard as stone
the road to our goals will not be overgrown
we dont have to prove it to anyone but ourselves
these words have been shelved for too long
wont let another chance pass us by
i know im not alone when i say " ill never fucking be that way"
this oath this pledge this promise it means something to me
the words could be the match to ignite these emotions could be the fuel that feeds the fire
ive watched so many fall short and those who have fallen hard
she said first come the pain then the poetry
but some of us will make it to fight another day
